SIX MONTHS OUT!!!
Just wanted to note that we are now six months out from our departure date (give or take a day or two). My, how the time has flown so far. Seems like just a few weeks ago when we gathered at the Henley's to discuss the trip. I don't know about the rest of the girls, but I do spend some time pondering my wardrobe. Guess we'll be getting more serious about that really soon, and I'm sure there will have to be a pre-trip shopping excursion :)

I actually thought about the six months thing and mentioned to Teri that I should leave a post about it. She told me that Cathleen had beat me to the punch. I'm the only one of the Marjorites who doesn't get the e-mail updates since it's limited to 10 e-mail addresses.
I disagree with Cathleen about it seeming like a few weeks ago, however. It seems like forever ago to me.
When we gathered six months ago, Mike and Jen hadn't completed their move to Virginia, Barack Obama wasn't our president elect, our economy wasn't in complete meltdown, Jeff had only recently come home from Iraq, and on and on.
Maybe it's because Teri and I have been fighting nasty colds the last week or so and that's affecting my mood the last few days, but I've never been so happy to see a semester come to an end.
Here's hoping that the next six months really does fly by.
I cannot believe that we are only 172 days out!!! I'm not packed!!!!!
